On the morning of Sunday, February 2nd 2025, our beloved Osi escaped out the front gate and was unfortunately hit by a car where he suffered trauma that led to two pelvic fractures and a pneumothorax. Currently, he is still in critical condition, the pneumothorax has not improved, and the two fractures are still unable to be tended to until we are able to resolve the problems with his lungs. This, as you can imagine, requires a lot of urgent veterinary care that is estimated to be 10k-25k minimum. Osi is a very well loved dog that brings joy to not only me but my family on a daily basis. He is our baby and part of the family. Our priority is to get him all the care that he needs because he’s done so much for us and has brought so much happiness and laughter in times that haven’t always been so bright. He has been there for us through our roughest times and all we want is to be able to help him make it through his. His life matters so much to us and I cannot fathom what our lives would look like without such a unique and loving presence such as his. We’ve seen him grow up and we want to grow old with him. Please, anything and everything helps. Our baby and our family thanks you.

En la mañana del domingo 2 de febrero de 2025, nuestro querido Osi escapó por la puerta principal y lamentablemente fue atropellado por un automóvil donde sufrió un traumatismo que le provocó dos fracturas de pelvis y un neumotórax. Actualmente, todavía se encuentra en estado crítico, el neumotórax no ha mejorado y las dos fracturas aún no se pueden atender hasta que podamos resolver los problemas con sus pulmones. Esto, como puedes imaginar, requiere mucha atención veterinaria urgente que se estima en entre 10.000 y 25.000 como mínimo. Osi es un perro muy querido que me alegra no solo a mí sino también a mi familia a diario. Él es nuestro bebé y parte de la familia. Nuestra prioridad es brindarle toda la atención que necesita porque ha hecho mucho por nosotros y nos ha traído tanta felicidad y risas en tiempos que no siempre han sido tan brillantes. Él ha estado ahí para nosotros en nuestros momentos más difíciles y todo lo que queremos es poder ayudarlo a superar los suyos. Su vida nos importa mucho y no puedo imaginar cómo serían nuestras vidas sin una presencia tan única y amorosa como la suya. Lo hemos visto crecer y queremos envejecer con él.
