Save Oñito

Hi, I'm Hayley and I run Fauna Mountain Cat Rescue in the South of Spain. I help cats who are in a very bad way and most other rescues are unable to help. Like Oñito, a sweet black colony cat from the coast who is battling a very severe respiratory infection and has feline leukemia. He is currently in the vet hospital on three strong antibiotics and having many tests and thorax drainings to remove pus fluid in his lungs. He recovered from a dog attack just 9 months ago and he is only 18 months old...he really has been through the wars.

I was approached by the vet hospital to help the lady who is trying so hard to fight for him. A lovely woman called Angeles who feeds the colony cats but her specialty is really dogs. She has been desperately struggling to find help for Oñito and doesn't want to put him back in the colony to die. That's where you come in! If you can afford to donate a little cash, we can band together to pay for Oñito's treatment and pray that he makes it through this terrible infection. Right now, he's struggling to lift his head, but if he can make it through this storm, he will have a place here at the sanctuary with me and not need to worry about returning to a tough life in the wild. So please help if you can. So far, his bill is expected to be around €550-700. I will share the vet bills on my instagram page so take a look there too.
