I have a 5-year-old Holland lop (Ollie) my son and I adopted a little over 4 years ago. Ollie currently has two abscesses growing near his left eye. He is on antibiotics and pain medication every 12 hours. I have spent close to $1,000 bringing him to the vet on two separate occasions getting examined, eyes flushed, and medications. Unfortunately Ollie needs surgery to remove the abscess. His vet is recommending a CT scan to get a better picture of what is going on prior to surgery. Additionally, the vet is recommending Ollie get neutered as Holland lops are susceptible to testicular cancer. Currently, one of his testicles is larger than the other. I am asking for financial assistance as I am a single mother and do not have the money to pay for Ollie's surgery. I do not want him to suffer and I also cannot even think about putting him down as my son would be devastated. Ollie is healthy otherwise and could potentially live until 10-11 years old.
