Help Save Oliver — My Sweet Kitty Fighting FIP

Hi everyone,

My name is Dominique, and I’m reaching out with the heaviest heart and a deep hope that you might be able to help me save my sweet kitty, Oliver.

Oliver is not just our pet; he’s our baby, my comfort, and a huge part of my little family. He’s been recently diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a devastating disease that is aggressively attacking his body. We got him back in January of this year when he was around 2 months old, and now, being around 8 months old, he’s fighting for his life. He has painful ulcers in his mouth, and the infection is spreading downward, making it incredibly hard for him to eat, and even harder for him to stay strong.

The treatment for FIP exists, but it’s very costly luckily I was able to receive his first treatment .Oliver is also needing mouth surgery due to his ulcers spreading downward in his mouth causing it to be difficult to open his mouth completely and eat . His vet bills are estimated to be around $2,000, and right now, I simply don’t have the means to cover them.

Life has been incredibly hard lately. Just recently, my partner Lisa was in a car accident that left us without a vehicle. She broke her thumb, is recovering well, but lost her job. We managed to get another car, but it completely wiped out all of our savings. On top of that, we’re struggling to keep up with rent and basic living expenses. We’ve done everything we can to make things work, but we’ve hit a wall and are scared of losing Oliver because of money.

I hate asking for help. This is incredibly difficult and humbling, but I have nowhere else to turn. If you are able to donate anything at all, even the smallest amount, it would mean the world to us and could help give Oliver the second chance he deserves.
