Hello my name is Anaëlla & my younger brother, Brian , and we live in London. We would really like to raise some funds for my cousin, Oceane, who is going through some terrible medical issues at the moment.
Oceane is 10 years old and lives in Bujumbura, Burundi. In July 2020, Oceane unexpectedly fell ill, and was in a coma for some time. Eventually the doctors diagnosed her with Adrenal Gland Insufficiency with Hyperkalemia. This illness has had a major impact on her life, physically, mentally and emotionally. She is unable to do the things she was able to do before as her illness leaves her with very low energy and causes weakness, constant nausea, muscle discomfort, severe anemia and several unknown allergic reactions which the doctors have struggled to manage. She is experiencing a lot of excruciating abdominal pain and stomach cramps and has had to have three blood transfusions so far.
Due to lack of necessary and urgent medical equipment in Burundi, and the unreliable healthcare infrastructure, her doctors have suggested that Oceane be taken abroad to receive urgent life-changing treatment. She has already spent more than three months in the intensive care unit in hospital, in Burundi and the current hospital bills are mounting in addition to the cost for treatment if she can be taken abroad.
Our Family & Us would really appreciate if you could help us raise funds and donate something to help with Oceane’s bills but also so that she can be taken abroad for life-changing treatment. Your support, however big or small, would be so helpful during this extremely difficult and stressful time. Please also keep Oceane in your Prayers. Thank you so much for reading and contributing, and God bless you & yours.
On behalf of Oceane and Family.
