On Saturday night my dear friend Donya, and her fiancé, Parham were driving down Maclay St. in Sylmar when they witnessed a kitten get hit by a car. They immediately jumped out of their car and rushed him to the emergency room in order to get him the care he needed. No one else stopped to help. Turns out his head took the brunt of the trauma which caused him loss of vision and two broken teeth. On top of that he also has bladder impairment. He will need to see a brain and eye specialist as well as a dentist.

As most of you know, emergency veterinary care is incredibly expensive, so I am reaching out to our community for support to give Oakey a fighting chance at recovery.

I’m so heartbroken for this baby, but so thankful my friends were there to rescue him. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Oakey’s medical treatment, pain management, and long road to recovery. Thank you so much for donating and sharing this page.
