Save O2 Production – We Need Your Help
11 years of creating heart felt Boyslove stories – now facing the risk of shutting down.
Hello everyone,
My name is Hồ Sĩ Hậu, director, producer, and founder of O2 Production — established on December 6, 2014. For the past 11 years, I have lived by faith and passion: creating heart felt, tender, and healing Boyslove films — for audiences in Vietnam and around the world.
It may sound unbelievable, but it is the truth: after 11 years, O2 has still never made a profit. The production cost of each series is very high — usually between 60,000 – 150,000 USD, while YouTube revenue is far too low compared to the expense. For example, our two most recent projects (The First Star Season and Teenager Judge) only brought in about 35,000 USD in YouTube revenue for both films combined, and that is before deducting 30% for the Network, not to mention the monthly salaries for editors, scriptwriters, and assistant directors.
To make it clearer, here is a screenshot of our
YouTube revenue in the last 6 months (April–September 2025):
each month O2 only earned about 1,100 – 1,800 USD. This number is far too small compared to the actual cost of producing a complete series. (Proof image attached.)
Currently, the series “Awaiting Dawn (Chờ Ngày Nắng Lên)” has been releasing on YouTube since September 6, 2025 — a project I poured so much of my heart into. I even had to borrow 20,000 USD from a friend to make it possible. I share this not to complain, but to be transparent: I have put both my passion and financial responsibility into every single film.
If this project does not generate income and I cannot secure more support for upcoming projects, the 11-year journey of O2 Production may have to come to an end. That is not what I want — but it is the reality I am facing.
I am not writing this to lament. I am truly asking for help from the community:
- If you love O2’s films, please consider making a donation (no matter how small).
- If you cannot donate, you can still share this campaign, introduce O2 to others, or help connect us with sponsors/partners.
- If you are a sponsor or a business interested in collaboration, I would be grateful to discuss sustainable support models (sponsorship, co-production, product placement, etc.).
My vision is to produce at least 2 projects every year (each 10–12 episodes, costing 60,000–80,000 USD), while also developing larger projects such as The Lost Ring (around 150,000 USD) or a Boyslove–Horror series (120,000–150,000 USD). With your support, O2’s YouTube channel can continue to exist, bringing meaningful stories — not just for entertainment but also for healing.
I know not everyone can contribute financially. But if each person in our community can give just a little — money, sharing, or connections — it would create a huge difference.
I sincerely thank you for every bit of attention, every donation, and every share. Any help — no matter how small — will be cherished and transparently used for film production and team salaries.

Just to clarify: the figure of 500,000 USD is only an estimated total for multiple long-term projects. In reality, I do not expect any individual or organization to cover such a large amount. What I truly hope for is that each person can support within their capacity — whether it’s 1 USD, 5 USD, or simply sharing the GoFundMe link. Every contribution, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated and meaningful to us.
From the bottom of my heart,
Hồ Sĩ Hậu
