Hi, we’re Toyah and Jo and we need help raising funds to save our kitten, Nyra.

Nyra is a seven month old calico who we believed to be pregnant. Turns out we were wrong - she actually has feline infectious peritonitis (FIP - or feline coronavirus). The cure for the illness, which was previously a fatal diagnosis, was only recently discovered in 2021, which means it’s still very expensive.

Nyra’s symptoms include a painfully swollen abdomen, a fever, loss of appetite and wheezing.

We estimate that Nyra’s treatment will cost us £740, with an additional £280 already spent on bloods tests and appointments. (Receipts coming soon.) This is assuming we are lucky enough to treat Nyra at home.

We don’t expect to fully fund Nyra’s treatment, but even the smallest donation will be appreciated greatly. Thank you so much!
