Save Norse Hall With Tom Hoffman and Mikal Apenes!

Norse Hall Association is pleading for you to help rescue our beloved Norse Hall building.  Revenue that normally covers our utilities, maintenance, and repair expenses has been lost due to Covid.  Our average annual operational expenses are $60,000.  Our building has been closed for the past year, so we have been operating in the red.  The Norse Hall, built in 1928, is home to Grieg Lodge as a gathering place, and the local dance community as a performance venue.


We are known for our annual Lutefisk Dinner, Syttende Mai Celebrations, and preserving Scandinavian heritage/culture.  Portland dance groups regularly grace our ballroom with a variety of dance activities.  Our building is available for rental for conventions, meetings, and so much more. 


Perhaps you have danced the night away in the ballroom? Maybe you have shared a meal with loved ones in our Bergen Waterfront Dining Room?  You might have even enjoyed a cold one and some great conversation in the Oslo Lounge.  Please help us maintain these great moments for future generations, and for all of us as we finally emerge from quarantine.
