Save Norman Fizzgig: Urgent Medical Help Needed!!

My sweet boy has crossed the rainbow bridge. We tried so hard, but it was just too much. He was so very loved. I will leave his fundraiser open for now as it’s still helping immensely to take the edge off of the massive bill we accrued during his time spent in the ICU. Any further donations will be used for this purpose.

The wonderful staff at Sunset did their best at all points of his journey, they worked hard for and believed in his recovery. All I can do now is seek comfort in the fact that his adorable, rambunctious, loving spirit is no longer trapped in a body that was failing him.

URGENT EMERGENCY

My precious kitty Norman Fizzgig is currently in the ICU being treated for diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), a sudden and life threatening condition. He was also diagnosed with pancreatitis and hepatic lipidosis, which he may need to be transferred to a larger hospital facility to treat. The staff at Sunset Animal Hospital are trying their best to get him stable enough to avoid transfer. He will need at least another week’s stay in the ICU to stabilize the DKA as well as possible further treatment at the next hospital, which is estimated to cost upwards of $15,000 in addition to the $5,500 for his original emergency IV treatments. The most urgent issue is gathering the funds to continue his ICU stay. We are taking it a day at a time and extending his stay every 24 hours as the funds allow, so I’m setting a goal of $10,000 for now and hoping for the best.

This little boy is my whole world and I have to do everything I can to save him. He’s only 6 years old and he’s a fighter, I know he can make it through this if we can just get him the treatment he needs. Any amount will help and be so appreciated, no matter how small.
