Help Save Niklaus: hepatic lipidosis treatment

Hello everyone ! My name is Anna, and I have been a Veterinary Technician for 5 years now. Saving animals lives everyday is what I am used to, and is my life’s passion ever since I was a child. Unfortunately, I am now unexpectedly taking care of my own animal to save his life. Meet Niklaus (nickname big papa) - a Norwegian forest/ Maine-coon mix! He is 4 years old, almost 5 on this years St. Patrick’s day! Unexpectedly, and unknown as to why - he had become constipated, and thus, lessened his appetite. Due to this, within 48hours of light meals, he has developed liver disease causing him to turn yellow(jaundice) , not want to eat, and now needs hospitalization everyday at work with me for IV fluid care, enemas, and medications that will save his life, for weeks on end to give his young life a new chance! His lab samples I have posted are to show the severity of his condition. Although I may work in vet med, between personal finances and his medical expenses- I’ve come to no other alternative other than hopefully seeking help in kind people who read this post. He has a sister who loves him, and his personality is perfect from head to toe! So to see him so unwell is so disheartening. He is the light of our lives, and our household. It would mean the world to us for every penny sent will go to save his life, and that’s a promise. Even just sharing this post if you cannot donate is greatly appreciated.
