Help Us Save Next Door Pizza

Hi Chino Hills, this is Brent & Jaime from Next Door Pizza. We are reaching out today with humble hearts and a big ask: we are currently at risk of losing NDP’s lease due to some unexpected costs tied to our building, and we need your help. More details can be found below.

Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward settling up with our landlord, and we are hoping any amount we're able to present will help buy us some time to make a few exciting changes. And please know this- we know times are tough. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing our campaign means the world to us and helps more than you know. You never know where or with whom it might end up.

We have put countless hours into Next Door Pizza and even though we have received zero compensation over the past 2-years, the last thing we want to do is to walk away from a concept that we truly believe in. Next Door Pizza exists because of our incredible community; we have always believed that, and now we’re leaning on that belief more than ever. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, your kindness, and for being part of NDP’s story.

The Situation: When our building was newly constructed in 2019, we signed a lease with a specific cost for rent and something called NNN. (NNN encompasses all of the building’s shared costs, including maintenance, upkeep, trash removal, insurance and taxes). In mid-2024, the County of San Bernardino was finally able to assess the property, and their NNN valuation came in at more than double what was originally estimated; those increased costs were passed directly from the landlord onto the tenants.

We've tried our best to keep our menu affordable in the midst of rising food and labor costs, and we operate on pretty tight margins already, so for a small family-owned business like NDP, that new monthly amount has been incredibly difficult to comprehend, let alone fulfill. We’ve spent the past 18 months trying to work toward a compromise, and those fees have continued to add up. And now, to keep our lease, we have to cover that balance, and quickly- which brings us here. We appreciate you time and concern, and we hope to be able to serve our community for years to come.
