Hi, my name is Spencer McHugh, and I'm currently a student at Texas Tech University. Last winter (around February) I was walking to my car at night when I found a kitten in the parking lot, immediately I picked him up and drove to the nearest stores to get him everything he would need, food, water, treats, and tons of toys. Bringing him back to my dorm started a new life for Neuman, now he is spoiled rotten and gets anything he could ever want, never leaving my side. Recently Neuman was diagnosed with Stage 4 Patellar Luxation of his right hind leg, meaning his knee is no longer in his socket. As his owner, hearing this news hurts because I know how much he loves playing and bird-watching. As a college student, I feel helpless against the mountain of vet bills I'm faced with. The patellar luxation surgery would correct his dislocation and further prevent it from happening again. Due to the cost, I'm at risk of having to euthanize my closest friend due to his low quality of life, something that surgery would fix. Please, any help/donation is greatly appreciated, no matter how small.
