Save Nenepesos from Losing Their Apartment

5-6 months behind on rent?

Well as embarrassing as this is, shit has officially hit the fan leading me to stoop this low and ask for help. As ironic as it is to go by the alias “nenepesos” and then turn around and be asking for help with money, it’s safe to say things haven’t been really working completely in my favor. 

credit scores went down 300 points, (& I can’t cancel the card/pause it) 

Owe around $600+ Electricity bill. Yea. Anyways 

(EMPLOYMENT)

essentially I did in fact make a mistake and left my job after a manic episode in February 2025 and after tons of depression due to personality conflict at the job (warehouse post office).

I didn’t want to leave the job without something lined up but my attendance got very bad and my supervisor sort of forced me to resign. He put the resignation papers in front of me and kind of put me on the spot about rather I wanted to continue to work and have outstanding attendance or if I wanted to leave. Being put on the spot in the moment I had went ahead and signed the resignation papers.

So in ways it is my fault and I’m so dumb for following through with that, and now I’m currently unemployed and job searching has been unsuccessful. I couldn’t take the job anymore either and felt like I had no other choice but to leave.

(ASSISTANCE)

ERAP (emergency rental assistance program) was something I was actually trying to get ahold of months ago back in maybe (November 2024) while I was still working at the job, because I had been behind on rent since then as well.. and (ERAP) typically only helps if you have steady income to be able to continue making your own rental payments after they assist you.

when I went to get the information the people at the office said that there weren’t any available applications.

my other choice while job hunting is unemployment benefits, which has also been a tricky route for me due to my previous job technically being a federal job, there’s documents that I must provide to submit my unemployment claim such as (S-50 forms, original paystubs, FIC codes/ Destination codes) which are all only accessible through the employee portal website which I no longer have access too.

I’ve contacted the USPS HR & Accounting to get ahold of these documents and they told me to send emails to specific people who can help, and I’m essentially waiting for those responses in order to thoroughly submit my unemployment application

(MY GOAL)

my goal is to hopefully recieve unemployment while I’m job searching and hopefully land a position in a reasonable amount of time and just recieve fundraising through this go fund me for what I currently owe so I can continue to live in my apartment and not have to result to things like sex work or possibly overly rely on SW and end up losing focus on the important things like finding the job and receiving unemployment benefits

MY LAST OPTIONS / RESORT

Lastly my other choice is to instead continue my application for disabilities and not work at all, all together and utilize my diagnosis of bipolar 2 as a reason why work is so hard for me. I don’t want to have to result to that, I would prefer to try and be consistent and stable within an employment opportunity, although applications are all getting denied and not helping the process

last but not least I do have the option to possibly move back in with my mother but that is completely not the goal or something I’d like to result to especially if I’m fundraising through gofundme & receiving others help to keep me housed in my own apartment... I’d like to make this situation work through.

lastly as you can see the documentation I uploaded states my rent being pretty cheap, I have an ADU (affordable dwelling unit) I try to not gatekeep and spread the info along to as many people so they can acquire affordable housing!
