Save Nala: Jared's Lifeline Needs Your Help

Hello,

My son Jared is 25 years old and autistic. He has no income currently and is in the process of applying for services. His dog Nala is his best friend. Jared adopted Nala about 7 months ago from Facebook marketplace. The woman he got her from blocked him right after pick up and never provided the promised vet records.

Last night Nala started having a dark colored feminine discharge, she has also experienced some nipple changes and thickening along with leakage. We are sitting at Angell memorial Boston awaiting triage. Our local emergency vet believes this is a pyometra which is a life threatening infection. Her previous owner seems to have bred her and never had her spayed. Our vet refused to spay her as she is a large bully breed dog and is atleast 9 years old.

Nala is the sweetest big baby and deserves a chance at life.

My husband is currently battling stage 4 cancer and cannot work so I am the households main support, so I have given Jared what I can towards her are but I cannot cover a bill this large. Please help me save my fur grandbaby.
