My name is Nafidh, from Gaza. A few months ago, I was a final-year student at the College of Information and Communications Technology, dreaming of a better future for myself and my family.
But all those dreams shattered in the blink of an eye.
The bombing completely destroyed our home. We never thought we would come out alive. We escaped with our bodies only, leaving behind all our memories, our lives, and our safety. We lost everything.
My family of seven (my elderly parents and my five younger siblings) now live in a crowded tent. There is no electricity to light up the dark nights, no clean water to quench our thirst or wash ourselves. Getting a daily meal has become a heartbreaking struggle.
My parents are weak, and my mother is sick and needs continuous medical care, but she is now without medication. Seeing her suffer in these inhumane conditions is unbearable. My little siblings, who used to fill the house with laughter, are now scared and desperate.
Words truly fail to describe the magnitude of the tragedy and suffering we endure every minute.
For this reason, with a heart full of hope and pleading, I ask for your help.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 to save my family and restore them to a dignified life. This money will help us to:
· Provide urgent treatment and ongoing medication for my sick mother.
· Cover hospital costs and any emergency medical procedures for family members.
· Secure food, clean water, and basic necessities like clothing and blankets.
· Pay rent for an apartment or safe, clean place for at least three months, where we can care for my mother and siblings in a suitable environment, protecting us from winter’s cold and summer’s heat.
Any donation, no matter how small, can be a lifeline for us. Never underestimate the value of your help. If you cannot donate, please share this campaign with your friends and family across all platforms. Your voice may reach those who can extend a helping hand.
From the depths of my heart, thank you. Thank you for bringing us back a glimmer of hope.
