Mykaya’s Snake Bite Survivor Medical Funds

Hello! As some of you may know Mykaya was attacked by a snake while she was in North Carolina. They believe it was a Copperhead snake. The snake was venomous which caused her leg to swell along with her foot and big toe which was the main site of the attack. She had to take 2 ambulances and stay at/transfer to 3 to 4 different Hospitals. In order to keep monitoring her toe and reduce the chances of amputation, she stayed at a hospital for a couple days and they treated her and her symptoms very well! She had an MRI taken to monitor the necrosis in order to see if the tissue can be treated and saved from amputation. She will now be receiving hyperbaric oxygen therapy where she is placed in a chamber for 2 hours to promote wound healing by breathing in oxygen at a high pressure. She will continue this treatment for 2 more weeks. All these bills can be overwhelming for Mykaya and her family so I hope to create this in order to ease some of the burden from this terrible circumstance and allow for the best recovery without the added stresses!
