Mya is our sweet 5-month-old kitten who has recently been diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). When we first adopted Mya, we were told she had an upper respiratory infection, and she was put on antibiotics. We thought she would recover once the medicine had done its job, but she wasn’t getting better. After numerous tests and many vet appointments, we’ve learned that she had FIP. Without proper treatment, this disease will cut her life short before too long.

She is such a loving, playful, and cuddly kitten who has slowly grown bonded to our family unit. Mya loves to follow us around, lie on our laps while we study, and will find any little hidey hole to sleep in. It's difficult to watch her big personality grow smaller as she continues to suffer from this disease. Even though we’ve kept up with the massive vet bills up until this point, treatment for FIP is far more expensive than anything we’ve dealt with.

Every donation will go directly towards her treatment, vet care, and recovery. We want to give Mya the best life possible, and we can’t stand to see it cut short like this.
