Hello, my name is Marwa.

Tio all kind-hearted souls, peace and greetings to

you.

My mother is battling cancer, and we need her so much. We are orphans with no father and no source of income to help with her treatment. Our home was destroyed, and we have nothing left. We’re struggling to afford her medical care and even basic needs like diapers. Please, help my mother — she deserves a chance to live.

My family and I have known nothing but the terror and hardships of war. Since a young age, we have lost our father, and my mother took care of us on her own, providing everything we needed. We have never asked for help from anyone, as we are a proud family. Like our Palestinian people, we have always aimed to live in dignity. Up to the current aggression, my sister was attending her first year of university, and my brother was at his third year. They have been deprived of pursuing and carrying on their education this year, like all students in Gaza, due to the ongoing aggression on all aspects of our lives.

In these very hard and trying times, we reach out to the global community as our mother is very sick with cancer and needs urgent treatment. She has been battling with the illness for many years now, and the current situation has made her condition worsen rapidly.

We struggle against despair in the face of all forms of death, either slow due to starvation, dehydration, displacement, and the spreading of illnesses, or violent due to the bombardments and ground military operations.

Please help me and my family exit Gaza and head to Egypt so that my mother can receive the needed medical support and treatment. where members of my mother’s family will be able to help us.

Any support, no matter how small, means a lot to us and brings us closer to peace and security, whether it is in form of donation or of sharing our call for help with your friends and community who may be able to support us.

أنا وعائلتي لم نعرف سوى أهوال الحرب ومصاعبها. فقدنا والدنا منذ الصغر، واعتنت والدتي بنا لوحدها، ووفرت لنا كل ما نحتاجه. لم نطلب المساعدة من أحد أبدًا، فنحن عائلة كريمة و كان دائما هدفنا، بمثل شعبنا الفلسطيني، العيش بكرامة. كانت أختي تدرس في السنة الأولى في الجامعة، وأخي في السنة الثالثة حتى بدء الحرب القائمة على عزة، وقد حُرموا من متابعة ومواصلة تعليمهم هذا العام، كجميع الطلاب في غزة، بسبب العدوان المستمر.

في هذه الأوقات الصعبة جدا، نناشد المجتمع الدولي لإنقاذ حياة والدتنا المريضة بالسرطان. فهي تحتاج إلى العلاج العاجل. لقد كانت تكافح مع المرض منذ سنوات عديدة، وقد أدى الوضع الحالي إلى تفاقم حالتها بسرعة.

نحن نكافح ضد اليأس في مواجهة الموت بكافة أشكاله، إما البطيء بسبب الجوع والجفاف والنزوح وانتشار الأمراض، أو العنيف بسبب القصف والعمليات العسكرية البرية.

ارجو منكم مساعدتي وعائلتي على الخروج من غزة والتوجه إلى مصر حتى تتمكن والدتي من الحصول على الدعم الطبي والعلاج ، حيث سيتمكن أفراد عائلة والدتي من مساعدتنا.

أي دعم، مهما كان صغيرا، يعني الكثير بالنسبة لنا ويقربنا من السلام والأمان، سواء كان ذلك في شكل تبرع أو مشاركة دعوتنا مع أصدقائكم ومجتمعكم الذين قد يكونون قادرين على مساعدتنا.
