Save My Mom’s Life by Helping Her Pay For Cobra

This is my mother Sue Thompson-Simmons. She has been dealing with liver disease for awhile now and is in need of a living donor liver transplant. She is currently getting emergency SSDI and Medicaid but the transplant hospital won’t except Medicaid. In order to get the procedure she needs to pay for cobra insurance through her previous employer so they will cover the donor also whom is most likely my older brother Jordan and of course herself. As most of you know, Cobra is expensive. Her supplemental funds aren’t even enough to cover all of her rent because right now she’s only getting emergency funds and won’t get the full total payment until may. She is a good Christian and attends church regularly and sings on the praise team. She is a believer in the power of prayer and that folks that love her will reach out to help answer these prayers. If she isn’t able to get on Cobra, her condition will only get worse. She will only be able to get a deceased donor and she could be on that list for years. At that point her condition will only get worse and, of course, death in waiting is very possible also. If you can donate, my brothers and I would greatly appreciate it. We love her and don’t want to lose her.
