Save My Life: Stage 4 Cancer Battle

Donation protected
On September 2nd, 2023, our family received devastating news. Greg went to the ER in excruciating pain and was diagnosed with stage 4 rectal colon cancer.
After being diagnosed it was soon discovered that his cancer had metastasized to his liver, which was filled with more than 20 tumors.
He started treatment at the University of Michigan and was soon also being treated at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. He has fought through months of chemotherapy; has had several surgeries including removing over three quarters of his liver and still tries hard to have a smile on his face through it all.
Such intensive treatment has given us more time with him and has given us hope. It's also taken its toll. The chemo and surgeries have made it difficult to work during this time. Greg has been a farmer his whole life; he knows hard work and he loves it. So not being able to do so is hard on him in many ways. Even with his insurance, he has high deductibles, a big pile of growing medical bills due to his extensive medical needs.
A few months ago, we learned that his cancer metastasized to his lungs. Currently he's on an even stronger type of chemo to combat the new tumors as MD Anderson is preparing for another procedure on his liver. His medical team has told us that this will be a lifelong battle for Greg, but there's hope and faith that he can live a long-blessed life with continued treatment.
Greg is beyond blessed to have so many amazing people in his life and also an incredibly gifted medical team in both Michigan and Texas. God is so Good.
Greg has been leaning on his family, friends, and his faith to get through these difficult and trying times. Now he needs some financial help to continue his battle with this aggressive cancer. Imagine fighting the fight of your life with a pile of rapid accumulating medical bills. It's pure stress, and stress feeds the cancer.
A donation in any amount will help Greg getting back to what he loves most: farming, working, cooking, grilling, watching his football teams, and talking to everyone he meets. He knows no stranger. lol
Greg recently became a grandpa and can't wait to teach his little grandson how to farm one day after kicking his cancer into a remission.
Thank you from the bottom of all of our hearts for being here for Greg, and us, in this difficult time.
You and your donations are greatly appreciated.

God Bless You.
