Hi my name is Claire and I'm trying to raise funds for my furbaby bams alot of people may think oh it's just a dog but that's not true she is part of our family she is like one of our children she is the most loving loyal beautiful dog ever
she is 7 years old and full of life unfortunately recently she got an unterine infection when I phoned the vets they told me they would not see her unless I had money upfront even thou my baby was/is hemorrhaging blood and I'm not talking about a little amount I borrowed the initial consalt fee which was £56 which was not easy after seeing her the infection was confirmed she wasn't eating and was not her usual self it was clear she was and is very unwell before I managed to borrow the money the vets advise was we won't see her unless you have payment up front and to get her seen asap by a vet I was utterly disgusted by this I thought a vet had a duty of care to a sick or injured animal? I cannot understand this as an animal lover surely the animals needs and health come 1st screw the money upfront!!! But turns out it's just all about the money?! After Bambi was seen they charged an extra £150 to take her temperature and press a glass slide against her private parts to look under a microscope a injection of anti-inflammatory and give her a weeks worth of antibiotics they confirmed the infection I have a bad credit rating but I managed to put the rest of the vet bill on credit which IAM still trying to pay currently and struggling but I'm maxed out I was told by the vet she needed to go back in a weeks time and it's very likely she will need an operation in order for her to survive anything from £3000-4000 after 5 days at home I thought she was getting better however fast forward 2 days the bleeding is back so out of the past week she has only not been bleeding for 2 days and when I say bleeding I mean flooding and pools of blood,IAM disabled with ill health physical and mental I cannot work my husband is my full time carer so can't work either,if we had the money we would spend it all on her regardless of cost unfortunately we do not due to the circumstances life has dealt us we also have 2 children at home who both have health issues and difficulties,Bambi is my baby she's the 1st to cuddle up with me when I'm poorly she licks my tears away when I'm crying in pain she's always by my side she adores and loves our children and us as we do her she's my support litterally she means the world to us,we litterally cannot live without her she is a part of us and our family,I have tryed various vet charity's and gotton no where I have tryed to get lines of credit and failed we have already sold any items we had of any value to pay for a few Christmas presents and those are little bits and bobs nothing laverish or even expensive for our children this year so we have. othing left to sell to now cover this crisis obversly this has come as a huge shock and we just can't believe it's happening tbh! it just happened out of the blue! money is non excistant as is for most people stuck on benefits and with the cost of living crisis I know it's sooo hard for everyone if you could please help us save our baby girl we would very truly be forever grateful to you even a £1 helps us I don't and can't lose my baby girl thank you for taking the time to read this much love Claire and family
