Hi my name is MERLE, im fundraising for my father who is currently in the ICU in the Philippines (Divine mercy medical hospital) after an emergency brain surgery due to a severe fall that caused bleeding on the right side of his brain. He can no longer move the left side of his body and is under close observation. The doctors had to operate immediately to save his life, but the costs of surgery, medicines, and hospital care are extremely high.

As the youngest of his five children and being far away here in Canada, it breaks my heart that I cannot be there with him. What I can do is try my best to support him financially, but the expenses are overwhelming. In the Philippines, healthcare is not free—every procedure, every medicine, and every day in the ICU requires payment, and brain surgery alone costs millions of pesos.
