A Story of Survival: My Family Trapped in Gaza
by Yazen Said
My name is Yazen Said, and I’m writing this from inside Gaza. I am still here — trapped — along with my parents and siblings, struggling to survive under the weight of war, hunger, and fear.
We have lost everything. Our home was destroyed in a bombing. We have no food, no clean water, no electricity, no safe shelter. We sleep on the ground, exposed to the cold and danger. Every day, we wake up not knowing if we’ll live to see the next.
The children are weak from hunger. We barely eat once a day — sometimes not at all. My mother hides her pain to protect us. My father walks for hours just to find a bottle of water or a piece of bread. We are exhausted, physically and emotionally. And no one is coming to help — unless you do.
I’m not writing this for sympathy. I’m writing this because my family needs your help to survive — to escape this nightmare.
I’m trying to raise enough money to get us out of Gaza before it’s too late. But I cannot do it alone.

Your donation — no matter how small — could save a life.
You could help feed starving children.
You could help us find safety.
You could help us live.
We are not numbers. We are a family. And we are running out of time.
