When the Israeli agression on Gaza first started, hardly could you have imagined that your son or daughter should one day be asking you for some food, some fruit, or even some drinkable water, and that you would be unable to respond to their needs.
This is the situation i have been going through every single day in Gaza.
It is incredibly difficult to be a father in Gaza. There has been no food, water, medicine, gas, fuel, electricity, at all for months, not to mention security (which has never really existed in Gaza ).
My name is Mahmoud M. M. NASSAR and I live with my family of ten adults and four children In Rafah: in fact it is in the south of Gaza, that I am experiencing such a dramatic situation.
I am 35 years old, I am married, and I have two innocents beautiful children and my dear parents, and my sister and her family of four, live with us.
We have lost many relatives, loved ones, and neighbors. Houses, institutions, and hospitals have been destroyed. Recently, a house next to us was targeted by three rockets.
Fortunately, we were lucky to survive again.
Because of all that we have been going through, we made the decision to move Egypt.
Unfortunately, even moving to Egypt is not easy. For we have to pay a large sum of money, just to cross the border with Egypt (about $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child).
So my dearest wish and only hope is that you could help my kids and family by any means possible to escape this ongoing genocide, away from our life of nightmare in Gaza, in order to find security in Egypt at last.

Heureusement, nous avons eu la chance de survivre encore une fois. Après tout ce qui nous est arrivé, nous avons décidé de fuir ce génocide et de nous installer en Égypte.
Malheureusement, même de se rendre en Égypte n'est pas facile. Car nous devons payer une somme très importante pour traverser la frontière avec l'Égypte (environ 5 000 $ par adulte et 2 500 $ par enfant).
Alors mon seul souhait, mon seul espoir, est que vous puissiez aider par tous les moyens mes enfants et ma famille à échapper à ce génocide en cours et à sortir de ce cauchemar que nous vivons à Gaza pour enfin trouver la sécurité en Égypte.
