Hello my name is Waleed, I am speaking to you from the heart of the genocide that we are exposed to every day and at all times. We have lost everything. My eight family members are suffering from the harsh loving conditions, and I do not mean living as a human being, I mean the struggles we face every day trying to stay alive. We have lived through the famine that struck us in northern Gaza, which we can never forget. We have been displaced so many times moving from one place to another while desperately trying to stay alive is only understood by those who have experienced displacement. As you move from one area to another losing everything you own in the process you are met with the challenge of having no safe space to even sleep it does not matter where you sleep. We were forced to sleep in the street several times. All our attempts are only to survive. I am trying to buy food for my family in light of the famine practiced by the occupation in the northern Gaza Strip. Here we lack all basic necessities, the most important of which is food, and if some goods are available by chance, their prices are high and unbearable in light of the lack of income in these circumstances, as the prices of basic food items in addition to cleaning materials and the rest of the necessities of life have reached more than twenty times their original price before the war due to their scarcity and people's need for money. I am trying to get my family out of this genocide by traveling, which is expensive for the people of Gaza because we pay what is called coordination with the state of Egypt, which costs $5,000 for an adult and $2,500 for a child, as we are 8 people, including a young girl, we are attempting save the equivalent of $37,500. This is a very large amount that cannot be collected easily, but we are trying daily to find support, perhaps we will succeed through community with people who have humanity like you. Not to mention the rest of the travel expenses, so I ask everyone who can do their best to donate to get out of this genocide, for great humanitarian causes, anything you can contribute makes a difference!
