Save My Dream:Education and Escape from Destruction in Gaza.

My name is Fadi Omar, a 19-year-old Palestinian from Gaza. Before the war, I lived a life full of joy and ambition. I was a diligent and high-achieving student, actively participating in school and social activities, preparing to excel in my high school exams to achieve my dream of studying at the world’s top universities. I had a normal life, full of freedom, hope, and excitement for a future that could change my life for the better.

But everything changed overnight. The war destroyed my home, my family’s security, and all our dreams. I am now homeless, unsafe, and spend my days struggling just to survive. My daily tasks now include waiting for hours in lines for water and food, searching for any safe place to rest, and enduring exhausting work far beyond my age. Each day, I feel powerless as I watch my life crumble around me.

I have lost two full years of schooling—years I should have spent learning, growing, and building my future alongside my peers. Every passing day in Gaza adds to my sense of deprivation and loss, pushing my dream further away. The blockade, destruction, and constant fear have become my reality, and everything that once seemed possible now feels almost impossible.

I created this campaign to ask for a second chance: a chance to leave Gaza, reclaim my right to education, and make up for the lost years by enrolling in a prestigious university to study Artificial Intelligence. My dream is not a luxury; it is a lifeline, a way to escape the daily destruction and suffering, and a path to build a better future for myself and my family. It is also a message to the world that Gaza’s youth can persevere and pursue their ambitions despite the harshest conditions.
