My name is Mohammed Faiz Al-Najjar, a father of six. I have three sons and a baby daughter who was born on the first day of the war – October 7th. Instead of being welcomed into the world with safety and warmth, she was greeted by the sounds of explosions and the smell of gunpowder.
Since that day, we have been living a nightmare with no end in sight. The war has taken away our home and our safety, and it has stripped us of our livelihood. Too often, I find myself helpless before my children’s tears when they ask me for food, and I have nothing to offer but words of comfort. Hunger knocks on our door every single day, the cold creeps into our bodies at night, and fear never leaves our hearts.
I am writing to you now with a heavy heart, because I can no longer protect my children or provide them with their most basic needs. I appeal to every compassionate heart, to every capable person, to stand with us in this ordeal. Your donation — no matter how small — can mean a warm meal, medicine, or a roof to shield my children from the cold and fear.
Please, do not leave us alone in this darkness. Help us save the lives of an entire family, and give my daughter, who was born amid the horrors of war, a chance to grow up in a world that knows the meaning of mercy.
Your donation today could be the difference between life and death for us.
