Hi, my name is Mickuz. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my cat, not only my pet, but my best friend. Yesterday, July 31st, Yuki was rushed to the emergency hospital due to a life-threatening urinary obstruction. The doctors told me he has stones in his kidneys and urgently needs surgery. He will have to stay in the hospital for 2–3 days, and the estimated cost for his treatment and surgery is around $10,000 as of now.

I’m a full-time culinary student, and this situation is more than I can handle alone. This is not just “a cat.” He’s my source of comfort, strength, and hope. Whenever I come home exhausted and overwhelmed from school, he’s there rubbing his head against me, easing my stress, and helping me fight through my problems. He’s the reason I stay strong, and I can’t imagine my life without him.
