This is my baby bean, short for garbanzo beans. I’ve had him since he was just a few weeks old with barely open eyes. I gave him formula and watched him grow big and strong these last 7 months. Last night bean took a fall on the stomach and ruptured his intestines. When taken to the vet they found something lodged in his belly and need to operate immediately. I used my last 1k on medical testing and lab work for him. The surgery is 4k. I don’t even know what recovery is going to entail for him or if he’ll need medicine or special food. I’m just lost. He’s the best cat ever. He’s a certified therapy cat and goes everywhere with me whether it’s to class, work, or even shopping. I’m trying to raise money to cover the cost of surgery as fast as I can. He won’t make it without immediate surgery according to the doctor. I don’t know what I would do if I lost him, he’s everything to me. If you can give anything at all, I would really appreciate it, everything counts.
