Per la comunità della danza internazionale,
Siamo Mattia Tuzzolino e Marinella Errera, direttore artistico e presidentessa della ASD Multiverse Studios a Palermo, Italia.
La nostra scuola di danza, fondata nel 2011, ha da sempre cercato di costruire una community che potesse guardare al mondo, che potesse confrontarsi con quello che succede nella realtà della danza internazionale.
In un terreno ricco di talenti ma spesso arido di iniziative, aiuti e coraggio, la Multiverse ha voluto rischiare e inseguire un sogno. Abbiamo formato nuovi insegnanti, ospitato più di 100 masterclass fra artisti nazionali e internazionali, inventato una nuova comunicazione che valorizzasse l’artista nella sua unicità, prodotto spettacoli, portato gli allievi del nostro vivaio sui palchi di tutta Italia e sulle TV mainstream.
Tutto questo, riconoscendo sempre, il valore economico dell’arte, cercando di rendere le nostre iniziative sempre accessibili e mai elitarie.
Da quel 15 Ottobre del 2011, i riflettori su Palermo si sono improvvisamente accesi.
Adesso, rischiano di spegnersi dopo 9 anni di dedizione.
L’attuale crisi economica dovuta alla pandemia che tutti stiamo soffrendo, ha lasciato anche alla Multiverse, insieme ad altri illustri colleghi nel mondo (una fra tutte la celebre Movement Lifestyle di Los Angeles, impegnata in questi giorni nella sua raccolta fondi) un debito per noi troppo grande perchè valga la pena continuare.
Per questo, abbiamo bisogno del tuo aiuto e di chi crede che l’arte sia ancora un valore da proteggere.
A cosa serve questa cifra:
• Copertura degli affitti mensili durante il lockdown.
• Copertura di parte delle spese di Giugno e Luglio a causa della prevista ridotta affluenza, necessaria al distanziamento sociale.
• Utenze
• Spese amministrative
• Retribuzioni Insegnanti in sospeso
• Spese di riorganizzazione e tutela degli utenti
Sappiamo che la Multiverse ha lasciato nei cuori di centinaia di ballerini nel mondo, un pezzo di se.

To our beautiful dance community,
This message comes from Marinella Errera e Mattia Tuzzolino, artistic directors of ASD Multiverse Studios in Palermo, Italy.
Our dance studio was funded in 2011, its goal has always been to build a community that could give us the opportunity to share our passion with the dance world, to give and get from it.
In an unsafe place with a lack of opportunities, help and bravery, Multiverse ran a risk to follow a dream.
We trained new teachers, hosted hundreds of Masterclasses with national and worldwide talents, invented a new way of communication and promotion to enlighten artists the way they deserve, produced shows, let our students experience mainstream stages and television.
All this always making sure our services would be affordable for every type of pocket.
Since that 15th of October in 2011 a spotlight has lit over our city.
After 9 years of dedication, that spotlight risks to turn off.
The current economic crisis, due to the pandemic emergency the world is experiencing, has strongly affected the dance industry. Even bigger communities around the world had to face the same problem and we can consider ourselves lucky enough to ask for help but knowing that our goal is not too far to reach.
WE CAN DO IT TOGETHER.
We want to count on whoever believes in what a dance studio can bring to the community. On whoever recognizes arts as a value to protect.
What we are planning to cover with our request:
• Rents during lockdown
• Expenses due to the social distancing norms (we won’t be able to fully cover expenses if hosting less than 50% of our clients in each studio)
• Expenses we’ll have to face in order to reopen following the government directions
• Administrative costs
• Teachers pending salaries
• Monthly bills
We know Multiverse has left a lovely memory in the heart of many dancers around the world, that’s why we count on you.
