I am Mohammed from Gaza, a 23-year-old young man.

I used to live a decent life with my family in a simple home, and I ran a barbershop that I owned, through which I supported my family and built our future with hope and hard work. We were a loving and close-knit family, dreaming like any other of a stable and safe life.

But the recent war turned our lives upside down. I lost my brother in a missile strike, our home was completely destroyed, and my barbershop was leveled to the ground. We were left with nothing… We were forcibly displaced to the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Younis, and today we live in a tent that protects neither from the summer heat nor the winter cold.

From a life of hope, we’ve fallen into a reality of misery, hunger, fear, and destruction. We are now in desperate need of those who can stand by our side.

I appeal to people of compassion and humanity everywhere:

Please help us with shelter, food, and medicine.
