There’s a lot of pain in the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul right now. Unfortunately, as a result of that hundreds of small businesses across the Twin Cities have been looted and vandalized.
MSP Jewelers in Uptown Minneapolis is a small business jewelry store that opened its doors in 2015, but as of today those doors no longer exist. Along with the store windows, display cases, and the entire contents of the store, everything has been either stolen or completely destroyed in the riots.
I’ve set up this fund on behalf of my closest friend Ryan Gilmore who owns the store. He and his business partner Tony Schaefer have been building this store from the ground up and they need our help to heal and financially recover. Unfortunately, retail insurance will only cover some of the costs that are needed to get this wholesome business back on their feet.... that's where they need our help.
This fund will provide much needed direct relief to get this great small business back up and running and to cover the costs of damages and goods that aren't covered by insurance. Anything you can give is sincerely appreciated.
Thank you to all, and love to all affected in our great cities.
