My name is **Jorge N. Giraldo**, founder and owner of **Mr. Tango Shoes**. We began our company in **1994 (32 years ago)**.

**Mr. Tango Shoes is a U.S.-based American corporation** dedicated to manufacturing specialized dance shoes, particularly for tango dancers. Although our production facility operates in **Manizales, Colombia**, approximately **90% of our products are made for and sold to the U.S. market**.

Recently, a strong earthquake in Colombia severely damaged and destroyed our Mr. Tango Shoes factory in **Manizales**. Because of this disaster, we have been forced to stop our normal production, and the employees and families who depend on our company are now facing a very difficult situation.

I am personally organizing this fundraiser on behalf of **Mr. Tango Shoes, our employees, and their families**. My goal is to provide immediate support while we work to repair and rebuild the factory and resume production.

The funds raised will be used specifically for:

* Temporary financial assistance for our employees and their families while the factory is unable to operate.

* Cleaning and removal of damaged materials and equipment from the factory.

* Repairs to the factory and work areas damaged by the earthquake.

* Replacement or repair of machinery, tools, furniture, materials, and equipment necessary to manufacture our shoes.

* Purchase of leather, soles, heels, and other materials needed to restart production.

* Expenses necessary to reopen the factory and allow our employees to return to work.

All funds raised will be used directly for these purposes.

For **32 years**, Mr. Tango Shoes has served the dance community, especially dancers throughout the United States. Our greatest hope is to rebuild the factory, protect the jobs of the people who depend on our company, and continue producing the shoes our customers have trusted for decades.

Without sufficient assistance, we may not be able to rebuild and could be forced to close the business permanently.

Any contribution, regardless of the amount, will help our employees, their families, and Mr. Tango Shoes take another step toward recovery.
