Prestwick’s Peanut needs your help!

Peanut as I am sure most of you will know is a fourth time rescue dog. It was a heart-breaking decision for his last owner to rehome Peanut. He came to me with severe separation anxiety. Since being with me and after a lot of hard work, time, and effort he has mostly overcome his issues.

Peanut is the much-loved mascot of positive Prestwick and is well known in the town for ‘Peanuts adventures’ where he along with the page promotes our town and businesses.  I am sure you will have all met him or have seen him pottering along the main street.

Everything was running along tickityboo until a few weeks ago when Peanut had trouble with his back, he has now been left unable to walk. After several visits to the vets, the vet has advised wee Peanut requires an MRI Scan and operation which is specialised, he has been referred to Broadley’s Vet Hospital.

If anyone has taken on a rescue dog, you will know it is very difficult to get them insured unless you are able to provide their full medical history. This was not available, and insurance was rejected.Prestwick’s Peanut needs your help!

I am reaching out to the people of Prestwick to help me raise funds quickly so he can get the urgent treatment he needs. The vets bill will be £4,500. If I am unable to raise the funds, he will not be able to have the operation and it does not even bare thinking about.

Please, please, help peanut walk again and save his lifeby donating to this page.
