Save Mr Mouse

As many of you may know we are known for taking in unwanted,abused or unloved pets.Most arrive in a bad way and our newest arrival Mouse, is certainly no exception!

The plan for Mouse was for him to be put to sleep but we couldn't allow that to happen.Being a Yorkshire Terrier he could have another 10 years of life ahead of him with the right treatement,love and care.

This poor little sole was brought to us at the weekend as his current care taker couldn't meet his needs. After his life long owner had no choice but to give him up due to extremely serious personal reasons.

When Mouse arrived with us a few days ago he was Infested with fleas,his skin was very red and sore,was very smelly,and not forgetting his obvious cleft lip/palette which gives him a look only a mother could love. In addition to this Mouse has a small lump on his side,and an eye infection (possible dry eye) and is an entire male dog.

After a medicated bath and prescription parasite treatment he felt much better and quickly settled into family life.Despite all his issues Mouse has quickly come out of his shell and is surprisingly happy,bright and loving.

Mouse has now visited a vet with a positive prognosis.Thankfully it looks like all of his medical issues are resolvable with vet treatments.

The treatment plan for Mouse is a full dental and neuter as well as being tested for dry eye.

As a family we are self funding and never ask for donations towards the animals we rescue/rehabilitate,however on this occasion we feel its the right course of action.Mouse is so full of life and deserves the chance to have an amazing future.

Just to clarify we are NOT a rescue or charity and do not ask the public or anyone else for funding.We are just a family of animal lovers trying our best to help animals and wildlife in need or crisis.
