Save Mount Bovers

We're the Save Mount Bovers Community Group from Hawkwell & Hockley villages.

Our wildlife is at risk, our natural environment will be destroyed if 350 houses are given planning approval.

Our Council has policies in place to protect the "green lung" of Rochford District, which includes ancient woodland, heritage assets and the endangered skylarks who nest in this beautiful place.

But will that be enough to stop planning approval on agricultural land in the green belt?

We have plenty coming up to combat the injustice of the imminent planning application from Taylor Wimpey.

The campaign has significant expenses for promotion, planning advice and more.

To enable us to keep going and afford to keep the fight up, we rely completely on generous donations to the cause.
