Save Mothers' Lives

Help me save mothers' lives! Every two minutes a mother dies from pregnancy complications. That's equal to two  747 planes loaded with pregnant mothers crashing every day.

I'm raising money to purchase our first Fetus Ultrasound Examination Phantoms for ultrasound training via Zoom. What the heck are Phantoms? In short, they are highly realistic pregnant belly simulators that will help us teach how to screen for high-risk pregnancies using portable, inexpensive ultrasound machines. Telling an expecting mother that she and her baby may die if they don't deliver in a hospital, is one of the more effective ways to save women and babies. The sooner we can purchase the Phantoms, the sooner we can start training doctors and midwives working in remote, low-resource areas.

 

All funds will go to the Nyagi Project, a verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit. You'll get a tax deduction on your donation. Our fundraising goal of $25,893 is the exact price we've been quoted.
