MOOSE NEEDS SURGERY AND I NEED YOUR HELP!
I spent several months looking for a dog as a service dog prospect and stumbled upon Moose on rescueme.org. When I met him, I knew he was the one for me. I had absolutely no idea what I was getting into when I got him, but my life has changed forever because of him.  I thought I was the one saving his life, but it is evident that he saves my life every day. He has made it possible for me to go do things that I wasn't able to do before and helps me live an independent life. 
Last week, I took him on a work trip with my husband and realized something wasn't right with Moose. He was acting strange and breathing shallow,  so I took him to the nearest emergency hospital  ( which was 60 miles away!). At the hospital we found out he was anemic and were asked to take him to the vet right away when we get home.  After our trip to the vet and $1,400 later, we found out that he has a splenic tumor that is so big it has pushed his kidney and intestines to another part of his body. The tumor is also pushing against his lungs making it hard for him to breath. He will need a ctscan and surgery to remove the tumor. This all ends up about $8,300. I am asking for help because I have emptied my entire savings account and I have a very short window to get him into surgery before the tumor spreads anymore. The rest of the money is for additional costs for medication or complications.He is my partner in crime, my heart and soul and my lifeline.  Please take time and consider helping Moose get the surgery he needs ❤.
