Hello friends,

I come to you with a heavy heart. Yesterday, my sweet Moose got into an accident (chasing a squirrel—his arch-nemesis) that has left him in need of a $12,000 spinal cord surgery. Without this surgery, he would most likely end up permanently paralyzed. He is only 9.

If you know me, you know Moose is my whole world. He means more to me than I could ever explain in words. He’s my everything. The sweetest, goofiest, kindest lil buddy. Not doing the surgery just wasn’t an option for us.

I know times are incredibly tough right now, and asking for financial help feels really uncomfortable to me. But if you have it in your heart to help Moose, I would be forever thankful. And I know he would be too. Truly, anything helps while Moose undergoes this surgery tonight in the ER. I also believe that prayers and good energy are so very powerful and important and healing too, so we thank you.
