I am looking for help for our fur baby, our six-year-old German Shepard Montana.

Things started going downhill on Saturday, 12/27/25. Montana started throwing up and not being able to keep anything down. We got him into the vet on Monday (12/29/25) but did not really get any clear answers on what is going on. They were able to run x-rays, blood work and give him fluids be ultimately we brought him home because they don't have overnight staff that check in with the animals, and we are fearful of possibly losing him and him being all alone. I am thankful we did, as he was sick several times throughout the night.

The following day, we followed recommendations to take him to a vet down in Rock Hill, NY; Catskill Veterinary Services which we did yesterday 12/30/25. While we are happy to hear there is no blockage seen through x-rays or blood tests, they strongly recommend hospitalization so he can receive medication and IV fluids for at least 24-48 hours. Unfortunately, these past two days of emergency vet visits have exhausted our emergency funds, and we cannot afford the costs we were quoted for this, plus additional x-rays, blood work and consultations. We were told costs could reach near $7,000 at least.

Montana has continued to throw up, not keep things down, and has been refusing to eat. We have tried giving him appetizer stimulant, mixing food into his water and anything else the vets have recommended.

It is so painful seeing him weak and fragile. He is our world, and we are trying all we can to save him. Please, even the smallest amount can help.
