UPDATE BELOW
Mochi is the sweetest 7 week old Golden Retriever in the world. We rescued her from a bad backyard breeder situation and now after multiple vet visits it appears she has Intussusception where her intestines slip out of its normal place and she needs hospitalization and surgery. The doctor told us the surgery has an incredibly high success rate and she should be back to normal after surgery. She is the sweetest girl and we cannot bare to euthanize her when she is just a baby. Anything helps.
UPDATE: She had to have the surgery ASAP so we opened up a carecredit account and had to put it all on that. We had the surgery at VSEC. She had the surgery and her body was septic because her intestines had ruptured but she is doing okay. The vet says she is eating and looking bright which is a very good sign. The only issue now is that her blood pressure is staying low and her blood red cell count is very low so they now have to do a blood transfusion, which added on an additional $3k-5k on top of our bill that is already $8,300. It’s just me and my younger sister paying for it that’s why we were seeking help online. We’re currently trying to see how we can lower the $3k-$5k estimate since we had already put in so much time and money we would hate to lose Mochi at this point.
