Hi, my name's Misty. I was recently diagnosed with stage 4, grade 4 terminal cancer. I've been on medical leave from work, and today I was sent an email that I'm being terminated, and so are my medical insurance benefits. I've been denied government assistance every time I apply. Chemo is the only thing prolonging my life. I'm on the verge of being homeless, and when my insurance is terminated, I won't be able to afford my meds, cancer treatments, or bills. I've tried to apply for SSI but was denied. I'm terrified I'm gonna die homeless. I've worked hard and tried to beg my doctor to allow me to go back to work, but he won't. I need help and have no one who can or will help. Please, please help me SAVE my life and get my cancer treatments and meds. I'm terrified, I'm alone, and overwhelmed.
