This morning was every dog owner’s nightmare. Our sweet puppy Minnie, Maggie’s dog, was attacked unexpectedly. She is now facing serious injuries, including a fractured skull and jaw.

We just welcomed Minnie into our family on Tuesday, and in such a short time, she and Maggie have already been inseparable. Minnie has quickly become Maggie’s best friend, her shadow, and her comfort. Watching the two of them together has been so special—and seeing Maggie’s heart break as Minnie fights to recover has been devastating.

If you follow me on my sourdough journey or are one of our family friends, you know how much love we pour into the people (and pups!) in our lives. Minnie has already brought so much joy to our family, and now she needs our help more than ever.

The emergency vet bills are overwhelming, and the road ahead will include surgeries, medication, and follow-up care to give Minnie the best chance at recovery. We are humbly asking for any support—whether through donations, sharing this page, or keeping Minnie in your prayers.
