This morning, I had to rush my baby boy Milo two hours away to an emergency vet hospital in Colorado Springs. After tests and imaging, they found a rock the size of one of his vertebrae lodged in his small intestine, along with other small objects. The only option to save his life is immediate exploratory surgery.
The hospital requires $3,000 up front before they can even begin the surgery. Without it, there is a huge risk of puncturing his small intestine and toxins flooding his body.
Milo is my best friend, my family, and my grounding force. He’s been with me through everything, and now I have to fight for him the way he’s always been there for me. I volunteer full-time at a wolf sanctuary in the mountains of Colorado, living off-grid. While this work is deeply meaningful, it doesn’t provide income, and I simply don’t have the funds for this kind of emergency.
Every dollar donated will go directly toward Milo’s surgery and recovery. Even the smallest contribution gets us closer to saving his life. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing his story — it could make all the difference.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping Milo get the chance he deserves and for helping me save my child.
