Save Milo's Leg: Support His Surgery

Hi, my name is AJ and this is my cat, Milo. I am severely devastated by the unfortunate event of my cat assumingly being struck by a car earlier today. When I got home and found out the news, I nearly fainted. Milo was checked into a local pet urgent care, and I was told that the bone in his hind leg is completely fractured and requires surgery from a specialist. He'd have to have a metal plate put in place to help keep his leg together. Milo is not just a fur baby, he's like a son to me. I got him after the loss of my baby, and he's been with me for the same amount of time after my loss, three years. Milo completely changed my life by just being that great companion that many fur baby parents look for. Despite this tragic incident, Milo is energetic, witty, and loves to cuddle with his momma. Milo keeps me going, and when I'm away from him at work, I miss him terribly. Milo just celebrated his birthday this month, and I do not want to end the month making a life-changing decision by putting him down because of the lack of funds for his surgery.
