Save Milo’s Eyes

Hi, I’m Ameca Jones- for those of you who don’t know me, we have a ginger cocker spaniel called Milo who is our whole world. Milo has recently been diagnosed with Diabetes & while this is under control, in the space of two weeks, cataracs have formed causing him to go blind. Milo is only 7 & a half years old & has a lot of life left in him so to lose his eye sight to suddenly has caused us so much heart ache. It’s so upsetting seeing our boy the way that he currently is, so the Vet has advised that the earlier that he has surgery the better to prevent the cataracs in both eyes from getting any worse. This surgery has been quoted to be around £8,000 and IS NOT covered by our Insurance unfortunately. If anyone has ever met Milo, you will know he is the sweetest happiest silliest boy ever and if there’s even a small chance that this surgery could save his eyes then I have no shame in asking people who know me, us and our family to donate money.

I’m unsure yet what challenge I am going to set myself but am happy to do whatever it takes to raise this money to save our boy’s eyes.
