Hi my name is Jennie Hedworth. I recently went to see my good friend Mike from high school. He has been in the hospital since December 26th. To make a long story short Mike has had severe asthma since he was a baby. He later found out that he has Alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency. His body is not producing enough of this protein in the liver and that protects his lungs. He is in need of lung transplant. He needs to get to Cleveland to be evaluated and get things moving forward. He is a wonderful person, so very kind. Mike has always been willing to help others.
