Save Mighty Pawz Humane Society

As most of you know, in August of 2025, UGI began a gas pipeline replacement right in front of our facility. What was said to be a 4-week project - drug onto nearly 10, until the 2nd week of October. With traffic down to one lane and no updates or accountability from UGI, our small business and the Humane Society suffered tremendously.. Over 80% of our clients were lost to private kennels, simply because there was no way in or out of our facility due to the one lane matter and pipeline replacement on Stefko Blvd.

Mighty Pawz Special Operations and Mighty Pawz has always stood for helping animals in need. From Emergency rescues, animals in need, strays and cruelty to humane law enforcement. Services are now impacted and starting Monday November 3rd 2025 Mighty Pawz will no longer be responding to strays, and or any animal emergencies. This also includes Humane Society Police and cruelty complaints.. Mighty Pawz operations roughly cost about $48,0000 per month of operational costs. Due to the pipeline and loss of customers we are unable to continue operations.

Services impacted will be emergency response to animal rescues, when an animal(s) life is in danger, such as: an animal being hit by a motor vehicle. The ride share program which is a program that provides transportation to and from veterinarian hospitals for the elderly within the Lehigh Valley. In addition to all of these services including the ones stated before our facility is also a no-kill shelter taking in animals that may have little to no chance of finding a forever home. In addition to these Mighty Pawz also provides temporary sheltering to those who have suffered home fires, and disasters within the Lehigh Valley that may not be able to take their animal with them to a hotel. We offer weeks of onboarding to families impacted by fires. This would allow families to properly and most importantly focus on their families while we take care of your furry 4 pawed family member.

Without the community's help and assistance to bridge this gap in funding we have no choice but to close our doors, permanently.. Leaving animals stranded that may be put in a position where they need to go to a kill shelter. We are pleading to the public to help us so we can continue to serve you. We are 100% volunteer based, no amount of money goes back to anyone's salary.

We never imagined we would have to ask for help- but our community and the animals we serve mean everything to us. Your donation can help us recover from this extremely devastating setback, restore our emergency services and keep our doors open to every animal that needs a second chance. Every dollar counts, every share counts, and your support will save lives.

With regards..
