Save Midori from Deportation: Legal Aid Needed

Hello everyone, my name is Ken.

I am a very average, hard-working man and American citizen who wants to live a simple life.

I was suggested by a very good friend to start this GoFundMe since I was originally skeptical about it.

This GoFundMe is absolutely not about me, but about my wife, shown here in the photos, Midori.

Before reading, please know that this is NOT:

This is a very, very real situation and an emergency that will become catastrophic in a few days from now.

My wife is originally from Perth, Australia, and came to this country some time ago to start a new life and a family. She is not a criminal, has no history, no drugs, no violence, no alcohol, absolutely clear of all, PERIOD. Before meeting me, she was a victim of domestic violence from an ex who threatened to end her life on numerous occasions. After meeting me, she visited America legally on numerous occasions until deciding to make it final. After her most recent visit to America and back to Australia, within a week of returning, the ex re-emerged at the worst possible time and threatened to end her life. The law enforcement in Perth was unable to assist with dealing with the situation, so it just got to a point where she fled the country one way with her life.

Upon arrival, she was met by CBP and she was detained and held in custody while pregnant in her first trimester. She was constantly asked questions such as where the significant other (myself) works, if the significant other voluntarily gives money to her, why did she return back to America so soon, etc. She suddenly started bleeding while being held and was rushed to a hospital, which resulted in a miscarriage. Because of that fact, CBP took her passport and gave her an I-94 parole stamp until 7/10/2025. She arrived on 2/27/2024.

On 12/25/2024, Midori gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and a miracle named Armonie. Since then, we knew that this new addition would bring life and joy into our lives.

She was released instead of being sent back. It was a miracle.

Now as I write this on 7/5/2025, due to the uptick of ICE activity in Los Angeles, THEY WILL deport her 10000%, her file is listed as “deport”. This is where I need your help. There is an immigration attorney based in Downtown Los Angeles who is willing to go to court on behalf of us and fight everything for her right to stay here in America on 7/10/2025. However, his total retainer fee is $9000 or $1500 down payment with payments of $500 per month. With the amount of time remaining, I absolutely can't afford this.

I desperately need your help. Anything helps. Even if I don't reach 2% of the 100% goal, I would understand. Nothing in life is easy, but one can hope and pray for a miracle and right now I need the biggest miracle possible.

The donations will go towards all immigration attorney fees, so this attorney can stop everything from getting worse on the 7/10/2025.

She deserves the right to stay in America as does anyone, period.
